The attacker "sold" non-existent clothes in the Internet network for real money. In general, the pseudo-seller lured 11 thousand hryvnias from the victims. Investigators have already informed the offender of the suspicion. For what he did, he faces from a fine to imprisonment.

Officers of the police department No. 1 of the Odessa district department No. 1 exposed the man's illegal activities. The police found that he posted information about the sale of thermal underwear worth 500 hryvnias per set on a popular ad site and attached a photo that he "borrowed" from similar ads. Within ten days, 14 men and 8 women responded to the offer of the attacker. When customers were ready to purchase clothes, the seller demanded full payment for the goods, and after receiving funds, he stopped contacting some customers, and blocked the rest.

Thus, the defendant managed to deceive 22 gullible Internet users and embezzle a total of 11 thousand hryvnias.

"We established the identity of the offender and seized his mobile phone with a SIM card, which he used to communicate with customers, as material evidence. Under the leadership of the Primorsky District Prosecutor's Office of Odessa, we informed the defendant about suspicion under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, in taking possession of someone else's property by deception, that is, fraud, in particular committed repeatedly. According to the current legislation, the suspect faces a fine of 51 to 68 thousand UAH or correctional labor for a period of one to two years, or restriction of freedom for up to five years, or imprisonment for up to three years. Investigative actions are continuing," said Inna Pokhila, an investigator in the case.
