Scammers do not disdain a small but guaranteed income, and it is not uncommon to attack people who are looking for work. We tell the stories of three of our subscribers, so that you can pass by such a rake in the process of employment.

The man received a job offer. After discussing our duties, we moved on to the most important thing — official registration and salary. To set up the payment procedure, the candidate was asked to turn on the screen demonstration, go to the banking application and transfer the amount to the mobile phone account: ostensibly for verification, the payment will be immediately refunded. The money, however, was not returned. "Technical problems!", - explained the "employers" and enabled technical support. The specialist's efforts had a result: the money appeared. But not on the card, but on the account of a dubious Forex platform. The cherry on the cake is an offer to register for the same "employment" on this platform, which the man has already refused to accept.

How to protect yourself? Under no pretext do you pay money to the employer. It's unnatural.

Another of our subscribers found a job offer on a well-known employment platform, but from there she was quickly taken to messenger. Then everything is as usual. Conditions, test assignment, and the employer's willingness to pay for it. But ... for some reason, the "future colleague" was asked for all (!) bank card details, and then to top up the card for an amount equal to the amount of remuneration. Suspecting fraud, the woman refused to do it, but the "employer" continued to be weird: for example, he refused to transfer money until he received a full-length photo of the candidate and a separate face. Thanks to the vigilance of the subscriber, her wallet was not damaged, but nerves, time and effort were wasted.

How to protect yourself? Stay in the platform's chat as long as possible, check your employer's information in open sources, and act like our subscriber: no extra information about yourself to strangers!

The third subscriber miraculously avoided losing money on the recently popular scheme with "work on Booking". A woman received a job offer via WhatsApp. The first task was simple — to put likes on Booking.com, for $ 1 each. Usually such work costs from 5 kopecks per like, and it is rare when such "employees" are offered a whole ruble. This alerted the woman. But the employer didn't want anything strange, didn't care about the card data, so she decided to try it. For the first ten likes, she quickly received the promised payment. Interesting, isn't it? Then there was an invitation to a closed group in Telegram "for employees". There came a new task for everyone-to book a hotel room with your own money. They promised to return the money spent and add 20% of the reservation amount on top. The money had to be transferred to a very specific account specified in the task. A group of "fellow" bots reacted quickly: thanks were poured in for the quick payment.

It would seem that do as everyone else, and you will be in profit! But our subscriber didn't. The result? The $ 10 "earned" on likes from scammers remained on her card, and the scammers still had her data. As it seems to us, the exchange is unequal.
