A 3-digit code that defines the capabilities or additional requirements for the card.
First digit:
1. Allowed international transactions
2. Allowed international transactions using the chip (if possible)
5. Only internal transactions are allowed
6. Only internal transactions using the chip are allowed (if possible)
7. All transactions are prohibited except for banks with which there are 2-party agreements
9. Test card
Second digit:
0. Normal transaction processing
2. Requires on-line communication with the issuing bank
4. Requires on-line communication with the issuing bank, except in cases of 2-party agreements
Third digit:
0. No restrictions, PIN is required for transactions
1. No restrictions
2. Only purchase of goods and services, there is no possibility of receiving cash
3. Use only at ATMs, PIN is required
4. For cash withdrawal only
5. Only purchase of goods and services (non-cash), PIN is required
6. Without restrictions, require a PIN if possible
7. Only purchase of goods and services (non-cash), require PIN if possible
