First, she transferred about 30 million rubles, and then sold the apartment on Prechistenka Street and sent the money to criminals.

In August, Anna Dubrovskaya received a message about getting a loan from VTB. The girl got scared, called the bank back, but they assured her that there was no loan. The next day Dubrovskaya was called back allegedly by a bank security officer and once again frightened Anna with a loan. The girl went to the app and actually saw the loan notification (later it will become clear that it was just a request).

From that moment on, Dubrovskaya believed everything that was said to her on the phone. At first, the girl was allegedly contacted by security officers, then they switched her to her superiors, then to the Central Bank managers, who sent Anna a certificate of a Central Bank employee and a certain "algorithm of actions in case of fraud" for greater persuasiveness. According to it, she acted — in August — September, according to the instructions of the criminals, Dubrovskaya transferred about 30 million rubles from her accounts in Sberbank and Raiffeisenbank to a "safe account".

Then the scammers decided to take on a real treasure-an apartment on Prechistenka Street. Dubrovskaya was convinced that the real estate should be "fictitiously" sold so that the apartment would be burdened. Fraudsters advised Anna several real estate firms, she found buyers and sold the house for 130 million, and then transferred all the money to the same "safe account".

Total damage — 168,400,000 rubles. The money is big, but Anna's father may be able to help his daughter with a new home. Boris Dubrovsky was the governor of the Chelyabinsk Region in 2014-2019. In the fall of 2019, a criminal case was opened against Dubrovsky for abuse of office, but they did not have time to detain him — Dubrovsky managed to leave Russia. According to the investigation, the damage caused by the ex-official exceeded 20 billion rubles.
