Employers will be able to search for employees based on their research papers and databases.

Starting in 2026, Russian employers will have access to a new system that allows them to search for candidates based on their digital footprint, which will include coursework, diploma projects, research articles, and databases. The innovative system is currently being developed by specialists of the NTI Competence Center in the field of Data Storage and Analysis Technologies at Moscow State University.

The system will analyze information about students and graduates, compare it with the requirements of vacancies, and then select the most suitable applicants. The graduate profile (digital footprint) will include full texts of term papers, research papers, scientific publications, computer programs, and databases. It is planned to expand this list with materials from professional resources and annotations to scientific projects.

The Competence Center stressed that such a service will be useful in various industries: from IT to medicine. He also noted that the system can be used in the CIS countries. The main advantage of the new system is the ability to quickly and accurately select specialists, which will reduce their adaptation time to the new workplace.
