Now the tool is available not only for the government, but also for private companies.

CISA has announced the launch of a new malware analysis system, Malware Next — Gen, which allows organizations to analyze malware samples and other suspicious artifacts. The service is now available for private sector organizations. Previously, Malware Next-Gen was available only to employees of government and military structures.

Malware Next-Gen provides automated malware analysis, providing up-to-date information about the program's functioning and purpose. Virus analysis helps cybersecurity specialists detect and prevent malware from working, blocking their access and stability within the organization.

The system is already available for organizations with domains .gov and .mil. Moreover, since the program's launch in November, more than 400 registered users have submitted over 1,600 files, which led to the identification of about 200 suspicious or malicious files and URLs. The data obtained was distributed to partners to protect them from potential infection.

It is noted that unauthorized access or violation of the rules of conduct in the system can lead to penalties, including a ban on the use of Malware Next Gen, as well as civil or criminal penalties.

Although the public can provide malware samples for analysis, only registered users can receive analysis results. CISA encourages all organizations, security researchers, and individuals to register and submit suspicious malware to Malware Next-Generation Analysis.
