Prosecutors of the Volyn regional and Lutsk district Prosecutor's Offices sent to the court an indictment in criminal proceedings on the commission of fraud by two citizens of the Russian Federation and a resident of Zhytomyr as part of an organized group (Part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, 43-year-old and 32-year-old repeatedly convicted earlier men who were in the Volyn temporary residence center for foreigners and stateless persons, attracting 33-year-old accomplice at will, deceived citizens who sold household appliances through the OLX website.
During August-November 2023, when they agreed to deliver goods to the post office of the postal operator and forged payment checks, they took possession of the goods and handed them over to the pawnshop.
Two foreigners were given a preventive measure in the form of detention, a citizen of Ukraine-in the form of round-the-clock house arrest.
Malefactors were exposed during the operational support of the USR in the field of Internal Affairs of the National Police of Ukraine.
