A masterpiece of cinema that overcame myths and collected millions.

In just 2 weeks, the box office receipts of the film "No More Bets" (No More Bets) reached an amazing mark of $355 million. According to Maoyan, the leader in online movie ticket sales in China, the film has been leading daily sales since its premiere on August 8. At the same time, the film was ahead of many hits of the Asian film industry.

Maoyan predicts that the film could gross around $510 million at the box office. Also, according to Maoyan, the film achieves a high level of audience satisfaction - 9.2 out of 10.

Surprisingly, "No More Bets" does not contain any characters from comics or mythical heroes. The creators of the film decided to focus on the current topic-cyber fraud. The film stars EXO boy band star Zhang Yixing and actress Jin Chen, best known for her roles in historical novels. They play a couple who are trapped by cyber scammers in the fictional Southeast Asian city of Jianan.

The film's intriguing plot also tells the story of a Tian University graduate who falls victim to an online casino and ends up committing suicide. Director Shen Ao shared that he decided to include this story in the plot after learning about a real case similar to the Tian tragedy.

The film was a reflection of the general concern in China about the problem of cyber fraud. It is reported that one of the epicenters of such activities is the north of Myanmar, where recently five teenagers from Yunnan province were victims of such schemes. The problem is so acute that it was discussed at the highest diplomatic levels.

Taiwanese actor Jim Liu, who played an immigration officer in the film, believes that the public should have seen a movie on this topic. According to him, so far no major commercial film has been able to talk about the problem of cyber fraud. Jim Liu says that "No More Bets" gives viewers a deeper understanding of the problem of cybercrime, reflecting on personal choices and feelings of vulnerability in the world of digital risks.
