SpaceX successfully launched a rocket from the Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX Falcon Heavy successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center. Photographers and onlookers gathered at the launch site to witness this majestic moment.

The main goal of the mission is to deliver the spacecraft to the metal asteroid Psyche. It is planned that the spacecraft will enter the asteroid's orbit in 2029, becoming the first spacecraft to explore a metal-containing asteroid. The asteroid Psyche is in orbit around the Sun between Mars and Jupiter, and NASA intends to study its composition.

People gathered at the Canaveral National Seashore to watch the launch. After the spacecraft left the Earth's atmosphere, smoke from the rocket was seen rising into the sky, and the flame still glows.

The successful landing of side rockets deserves special attention. On a beach in Cape Canaveral, crowds watched as the first of two side-launched rockets landed eight minutes after launch. Both side boosters of the Falcon Heavy rocket successfully landed on the territory of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, Florida, on October 13, 2023.

This launch occurred shortly after the launch of the NASA Psyche spacecraft from the Kennedy Space Center.
