The Frunzensky (Minsk) district department of the Investigative Committee established the circumstances of the criminal activities of four defendants who worked as "sportsmen" for well-known drug markets.

According to the investigation, at the beginning of April last year, young people from 17 to 22 years old were actively looking for part-time work on the Internet. The comrades were not interested in the prospect of working long and hard, and therefore they considered options where they offered easy money for little effort. In the Telegram messenger, one of my friends came across a tempting offer – to beat up guilty drug couriers for money. The guy consulted with his friends, and the company, despite such conditions, decided to earn money together.

On the afternoon of April 1, my friends received their first order. The curator reset the data and location of the athlete with whom it was necessary to conduct an "educational conversation". The collectors undertook to film the entire punitive process on camera and provide it to the "employer" as a report on the work done. The amount of the beating fee depended on the degree of brutality with which the guys would teach the perpetrators a lesson.

In the designated place, in a wooded area near the Medvezhino Park, a group of "sportiks" was waiting for a miner who deceived the curators of the drug market. The first victim was a 39-year-old man, who was caught searching for a bookmark. According to the scheme developed in advance, young people surrounded the courier and began to demand explanations from him, and after demonstrative intimidation, they were severely beaten. The victim was kicked, hit with a metal bat on the body and promised to kill. After their inhumane actions, the "executioners" forced the tortured man on his knees to ask for forgiveness from the organizers of the shady store, filming a show of remorse on camera. For their first case, the newly minted collectors received a reward of 500 rubles, in addition, as a trophy, one of the defendants took a mobile phone from the miner.

A few days later, the operator provided Sportik with the data of another unscrupulous drug shop courier. This time the victim was a 16-year-old college student. The pawnbroker came in search of the product, but found no cache at all. The frightened guy was "brought up" in the same way as his predecessor - he was severely beaten with legs and a stick, and then forced to apologize to the camera in front of his handler. In addition, the attackers took the teenager's mobile phone and personal belongings. Young people planned to continue developing in this "business", but during operational search activities, four defendants were detained by police officers.

During interrogations, the comrades gave contradictory statements. Everyone tried to shield themselves and minimize their role in the criminal conspiracy. However, thanks to the scrupulous approach of the investigators, the role of members of an organized criminal group was established and the actions of all were given a legal assessment. The investigators examined and attached to the materials of the criminal case the conclusions of expert studies, information from seized mobile phones, including videos of "punitive torture".

Studying the identities of the accused revealed that two of the guys are siblings. Three of the company's employees were previously prosecuted for theft committed by a group of individuals. Relatives and friends spoke positively about the defendants, and their behavior was considered exemplary.

The actions of the defendants are qualified under a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus:

Part 4 of Article 328 (illegal purchase, storage, transportation and sale of especially dangerous narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale, on a large scale, committed by an organized group);
Part 1, Part 2 of Article 154 (torture);
part 3 of Article 207 (robbery committed by an organized group);
Article 186 (threat murder and causing grievous bodily harm).

A preventive measure in the form of remand in custody was applied to all the accused.
