A transparent toilet in central London has become a clear reflection of the online carelessness of users.

In popular areas of London, unusual "transparent toilets" have appeared, which became part of a publicity stunt organized by one of the well-known VPN providers. The campaign aims to raise awareness about cybersecurity and privacy on the Internet.

On the side of the semi-transparent truck, which contains a provocative installation with a man sitting on the toilet, there is an inscription: "Why are you willing to share your data, but not this one?"

According to representatives of the VPN service, this advertising campaign is designed to make people think about their online privacy. "Why do people share their personal data on the Internet without hesitation, but do not share other intimate aspects of their lives?" the organizers of the campaign ask.

According to the VPN service, approximately 6.5 billion unique user accounts over the past 20 years inadvertently shared their confidential data, which was subsequently leaked to the Network. As a result, about 238 million passwords were made publicly available, leaving 74% of those affected vulnerable to account theft.

According to the company, such a clear demonstration of low privacy can certainly encourage users to be careful when disclosing personal information on the Network. And, needless to say, last but not least, such a bright promotion was organized to attract new customers.

However, the campaign serves as a reminder to be more vigilant and responsible about cybersecurity and online privacy.
