Twin brothers from Ukraine and a Russian citizen were arrested by Indonesian police in the capital Jakarta. According to DetikNews, they were employees of a drug shop called Hydra Indonesia.
The arrests were the result of a large-scale operation, during which the security forces managed to find two drug laboratories engaged in the production and sale of hydroponics and ecstasy, as well as mephedrone. The names of Russian — speaking criminals are known-chemists Ivan and Mikhail Volovod, as well as businessman Konstantin Krutz. At the same time, two more Ukrainian citizens were put on the wanted list, whom the investigation considers to be the organizers of the proceedings.
It was possible to reach out to the Ukrainians and Russians after the arrest in Bali of a resident of Jakarta, who was caught with six kilograms of methamphetamine. There he tried to get lost after the destruction of his laboratory. Instead, he became a valuable witness, thanks to which the chain managed to reach out to the members of Hydra Indonesia. Now all of them, in accordance with the country's legislation, face the death penalty. During the arrests, 10 kilograms of cannabinoids, 684 grams of mephedrone and 107 grams of cocaine were seized.
