Canadian drugstore chain London Drugs has closed all its retail stores after discovering a cybersecurity incident. The incident that affected the company's systems occurred on April 28.

The company urgently took a number of measures to protect its network and data, at the same time turning to leading cybersecurity experts for help in locating the threat and conducting a comprehensive investigation.

According to representatives of London Drugs, at the moment there is no evidence that customer or employee data was affected as a result of the attack. The pharmacy chain encourages customers who need urgent pharmaceutical services to contact other nearby pharmacies to resolve their issues. In total, London Drugs has more than 9,000 employees providing pharmaceutical and medical services in more than 80 locations across Western Canada, including the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia.
