The Temryuksky District Court sentenced Natalia Tomchenko, a Muscovite, to a suspended sentence for fraud under the pretext of removing compromising material from the Internet, the United Press Service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reported.

According to her, in 2022, Tomchenko, acting with unidentified accomplices, organized a kind of business.

"She offered the girls to remove compromising materials from the Internet for a certain fee. The victims, among whom were residents of Moscow and the Krasnodar Territory, transferred money (from 15 thousand to 70 thousand rubles). However, the compromising material remained on the Internet," the court clarified.

The court found Tomchenko guilty of committing crimes under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (4 episodes of fraud), as well as part 3 of Article 30 and part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud).

The defendant fully admitted her guilt, voluntarily compensated the victims and apologized to them.

The court sentenced her to 4 years probation.
